About Me
Academics

I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher (since July 2011) at Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium. I am involved in an European Union funded research project EULER (Experimental UpdateLess Evolutive Routing) to study the topological properties of Internet in order to develop efficient routing algorithms.
I received my Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India under the supervision of Prof. Niloy Ganguly and Prof. Sujoy Ghose. I did my first postdoctoral research (May 2010-June 2011) at French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Paris, France in collaboration with Dr. Camille Roth (CAMS-EHESS) and Dr. Lionel Tabourier (LIP6, UPMC).
I am also associated with Complex Networks Research Group (CNeRG), IIT Kharagpur, India.

My research interests include

  • Peer-to-Peer networks: Resilience and Emergence
  • Evolutionary Communities in Dynamical Networks
  • Complex networks, Networks modeling, Statistical mechanics
  • Optical networks, Wireless Internet
